Cybersecurity insurance plan supplier Chubb has been investigating a info breach that gave hackers unauthorized access to facts belonging to a third bash.
A company spokesperson verified the “security incident” but stated there was no proof Chubb’s individual network was impacted and it remained “fully operational.”

Brett Callow, an analyst at the stability organization Emsisoft, stated the hack was carried out by the ransomware group Maze that steals info from networks and holds it hostage although extorting organizations for payment.
In accordance to Callow, the hackers declared on their website that they had stolen Chubb info previously this month and integrated the names and email addresses of main govt officer Evan Greenberg and other senior executives.
The hackers had not still published the stolen files.
