SYDNEY—SpaceX, the house-exploration firm established by Elon Musk, is seeking to establish a communications bridge to Tonga following past month’s volcanic eruption and tsunami largely slash the Pacific country off from the outside earth, a senior Fijian lawmaker explained.
The catastrophe on Jan. 15 killed a few persons and severed Tonga’s undersea cable that provides high-velocity world wide web by means of Fiji.
