Musk moves Tesla to Texas after ‘fascist’ California lockdown

Tesla is to quit Silicon Valley and transfer its headquarters to Texas after chief govt Elon Musk criticised lockdown actions by local leaders as “fascist”. 

The electric powered car corporation will transfer from Palo Alto to the Texas cash, Austin, Mr Musk instructed a meeting of Tesla shareholders, creating it the largest corporation to quit Silicon Valley for the Lone Star state yet. Tesla is also setting up a big “gigafactory” in Austin.

Mr Musk instructed investors: “I’m fired up to announce that we’re going our headquarters to Austin, Texas… Just to be distinct, even though, we will carry on to grow our functions in California.”
